The University Testing Center received national recognition from the College Board as it was named a top 100 CLEP test centers in the country in 2017-2018 and recognized for its commitment to promoting access to higher education for all students. This is the 14th consecutive year that UTC has been given this outstanding honor.
Each year, the College Board recognizes the top test centers across the country who administer the most number of CLEP tests. There are more than 1,800 test centers nationally who administer CLEP exams that are accepted by 2,900 college and universities.
Starting in 2018-19, all baccalaureate degree-seeking students initially enrolling in a state university are required to demonstrate competency in civic literacy by the time they graduate.
With a minimum score of 50 on the CLEP American Government exam, students would meet the new civics literacy requirement. Additionally, UCF students would also earn 3 college credits in POS 2041.

Incoming freshmen entering UCF will receive an email from firstname.lastname@example.org about seven (7) business days after they have paid their UCF enrollment deposit with their username (NID) and MyLabsPlus password needed to access the MPT. All incoming freshmen must complete the MPT, including those who have already received accelerated credit (AP/IB/dual enrollment). Starting in Spring 2018, UTC will begin administering the National Counselor Examination for Licensure and Certification (NCE) to UCF students and the community.
UTC will be administering the exam on Friday, April 20, 2018 and Friday, October 19, 2018.
