Proctoring services are not available for UCF classroom exams (including make-up exams). Please speak with your instructor/professor about the options available to you.
The University Testing Center (UTC) administers Correspondence exams for Distance Learning students. Currently, proctoring services are available for paper-and-pencil and on-line test formats. Correspondence exams are available by appointment only, and you must allow at least 2 weeks to complete the registration process and schedule an appointment. Exams must be scheduled to allow full time to be given prior to the close of business on that day. Example: If your exam time limit is 3 hours, then you would need to schedule an appointment no later than 3 hours before the close of business.
The cost for proctoring is based on the time allotted to sit for the exam, not the time that the examinee takes to complete the exam. If your exam length is not on the hour, you must select an appointment length that would accommodate your full exam time (for example, if your exam length is 2.5 hours then you would select the appointment for “3 hours”; if your exam length is 75 minutes, you will select the appointment for “2 hours,” etc.).
If your sponsoring university/institution has indicated that exam materials must be mailed back, they may or may not provide the postage for returning the completed examination. If the university/institution does not provide the postage, the cost becomes the responsibility of the test taker and the postage must be presented to on test day (or otherwise noted). The UTC cost for our proctoring services does not include postage for shipping for the return of exam materials.
