Important Updates

UCF continues remote instruction for students and remote working for nonessential employees. Here's what you need to know about the University Testing Center 's (UTC) operations:

  • UTC staff are available Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • At this time, the following tests have remote testing options and are eligible for registration through the UTC :
    • Accuplacer Next-Generation for students applying to select programs in the UCF Nicholson School of Communication and Media
    • Certiport for students enrolled in select UCF Integrated Business  courses
    • Foreign Language Achievement Tests (FLATS)
    • Hebrew Proficiency Exam
    • Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS)
  • In some instances, students can take their UCF Math Placement Test remotely. Email mathplacement@ucf.edu for additional information and to check your eligibility.
  • All other UTC administered exams are suspended until further notice. We are investigating remote options. Check this website for updates.
  • If you registered to take an exam at UCF that is offered by a third-party vendor, visit the agency's website to learn how to reschedule or cancel a test.

The University Testing Center (UTC) is located on the first floor of Howard Phillips Hall, room 106. The center offers a secure and comfortable environment that includes three (3) technologically advanced computer testing labs with 46 testing stations as well as a traditional paper-and-pencil testing facility.

UTC strives to meet the needs of UCF students, prospective students, alumni, and the greater Orlando metropolitan area by providing a wide-variety of testing services such as Distance Learning, CLEP, LSAT, TEAS, TOEFL-iBT and many others in order to foster excellence in higher education and create opportunities for success.
