Economics Exit Exam
The Department of Economics at UCF utilizes the Educational Testing Service (ETS) Major Field Test in Economics as their exit exam. Undergraduate students at UCF who are majoring in Business Economics (B.S.B.A.) or Economics (B.S.) are required to take the test during their final semester at UCF.
Note: Only UCF students majoring in Business Economics (B.S.B.A.) or Economics (B.S.) should register to take this test at UTC.
The ETS Major Field Test in Economics is computerized and consists of approximately 90 multiple-choice questions. Students will have two (2) hours to complete the test.
Students who believe they qualify for testing accommodations must submit written documentation of a documented disability to the office of Student Accessibility Services (SAS) to make accommodated testing arrangements at least two weeks prior to their schedule test date. Complete registration online.
After completing the registration process, check your email for the test registration confirmation sent to you by RegisterBlast. The test registration confirmation is required and must be presented on test day to be admitted to take your exam.
Arrive 15-minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Examinees arriving more than 15-minutes late may not be admitted and will forfeit any costs paid.
You are required to bring two forms of identification. Your IDs cannot be expired and must be in the name in which you are registered to test.
Primary ID: Must be a government-issued, non-expired photo ID. Acceptable documents include a driver license, passport, state-issued identification card, or military identification (with signature).
Secondary ID: Must have a photo OR signature, such as a Social Security Card, student ID, employee ID, or a debit/credit card in the examinee's name.
Bring your Test Registration Confirmation sent to your email by RegisterBlast (printed or on a phone/tablet).
Upon completion of the exam, you will be able to view your scores on‐screen. Additionally, ETS automatically sends a test completion email that will also include directions on how to view your scores online. Scores from the ETS Major Field Test in Economics will be provided to the Department of Economics.
