Rebecca Piety

Biography: 
Rebecca Piety has been employed with the University Testing Center (UTC) since 1998. She currently serves as the Director of Testing and Evaluation at the University of Central Florida (UCF). Prior to her role as Director, Ms. Piety served three (3) years as Coordinator of Computer-Based Testing services and four (4) years as Assistant Director. Ms. Piety is responsible for overseeing all testing operations at UTC, and serves as the Institutional Test Administrator (ITA) and CLEP Master Site Administrator (CLEP) at UCF.

Ms. Piety has been an active member of the National College Testing Association (NCTA) for over seven (7) years. She currently serves as a member of the NCTA Professional Development Subcommittee. Additionally, Ms. Piety is an active member of the Florida Association of College Test Administrators (FACTA). She serves as a State University System (SUS) Council Representative of FACTA and as Chair of the FACTA Assessment Committee. Ms. Piety also previously served eight (8) years as a member of the UCF Student Development Enrollment Services (SDES) Divisional Review Committee (DRC) and continues to be committed to the assessment process.

Ms. Piety is a graduate of UCF, having earned a Bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in Literature, and a Master's degree in English Language Arts Education.

When she is not at work, Ms. Piety enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and friends.

Linda Anderson

Biography: 
Linda Anderson has been employed within the State University System (SUS) for over 30 years; 20 years of service have been directly with the University Testing Center (UTC). Prior to coming to UCF, Ms. Anderson worked for the University of South Florida in Tampa, and also worked internationally for various colleges and universities at the military base in Augsburg, Germany.

Her primary responsibility includes coordinating all national and state standardized paper-and-pencil examinations. Additionally, Ms. Anderson assists with the training and hiring of all standardized testing staff, serves in a supporting role for the national and state computer-based testing, and provides administrative support for the Director of the University Testing Center.

Ms. Anderson is an active member of the National College Testing Association (NCTA), Florida Association of College Test Administrators (FACTA), and other professional organizations. When she is not at work, Ms. Anderson enjoys international travel, collecting old coins, and participating in the arts.

Ivellise Steinberg

Coordinator, Computer-Based Testing

Biography: 
Ivellise Steinberg began working at the University Testing Center (UTC) in May 2008. She currently serves as the Coordinator of Computer-Based Testing services. Ivellise Steinberg has been a member of the National College Testing Association (NCTA) and the Florida Association of College Test Administrators (FACTA) for three years.

Prior to joining UTC, Ivellise served three years as a Special Education Teacher, and 9 years as an Educational Evaluator for the Public Schools in New York. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Ivellise earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St. John's University. She earned a Master’s degree from Long Island University in Special Education.

During her free time, Ivellise enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, family and friends.

Ana Rosa

Test Administrator/Proctor

Biography: 
Ana Rosa began working at the University Testing Center (UTC) in August 2011. She currently serves as the Test Administrator/Proctor for Computer-Based Testing services. Ana has also served in the role of Test Supervisor and Proctor for paper-and-pencil test administrations at UTC for more than 5 years.

Prior to joining UTC, Ana worked as a Financial Service Representative for over 10 years. Originally from Panama, Ana has enjoyed studying aboard. She earned a Civil Engineer Bachelor’s degree in Brazil from the Universisidade Federal de Vicosa. She currently is pursuing a Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Construction Management from Norwich University.

During her free time, Ana enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Ana also enjoys learning about different culture and languages. She speaks Spanish and Portuguese fluently.

Biggest Success: Finding a connecting flight to Rome on my first international flight traveling alone. My first flight was delayed, causing me to miss my original connection flight. I found the airline office, arranged for a flight, found the terminal, and caught the plane in the right on time in an airport I have never been in.

Biggest Success: Helping to plan and coordinate Volunteer UCF’s 2011 Knights Give Back – UCF’s largest service event where we attained the largest number of attendees since the event was started in 2007, with over 1,000 participants!!!
