ACT Residual
The Residual version of the American College Test (ACT) is administered at UCF. To be eligible to take this exam you must have applied, been admitted or be enrolled at UCF. The Residual ACT can also be used as an alternative method to satisfy the CLAST exam requirement.
A score of 21 can satisfy the Essay, English, and Mathematics subtests of the CLAST. A score of 22 can satisfy the Reading subtest of the CLAST. Scores from residual testing are reported only to UCF. No additional reports can be issued to any other institution or agency. The ACT can only be taken once an academic ACT year (November to November).
The cost of the Residual ACT is $58.00. Registration and payment must be completed in order to schedule an appointment. All payments for UTC testing services must be paid in the form of check or money order at UTC. Your UCF PID (for UCF students only) or Driver's License number (for non-UCF students) must be written at the top of the check or money order. Payments can be made in person or by mail. No other method of payment will be accepted until further notice.
