News and Announcements
The University Testing Center received national recognition from the College Board as it was named a top 100 CLEP test centers in the country in 2017-2018 and recognized for its commitment to promoting access to higher education for all students. This is the 14th consecutive year that UTC has been given this outstanding honor.
Starting October 15, 2018, unofficial test taker copies of College Composition score reports will no longer be mailed. Students who take the College Composition exam on or after October 5, 2018 will be notified via email once their scores become available on the CLEP My Account Registration Portal. To view revised scoring and score availability dates, visit the College Composition Scoring and Score Availability page.
College Composition scores are typically available online 1-2 weeks after the exam date. To view scores, students can log in using the same information they used to register. Once logged in, click on My CLEP Account → My CLEP Exam Scores. If students would like a paper copy of their scores, they can click on the Print button above the score table on the My CLEP Exam Scores page.
Starting in 2018-19, all baccalaureate degree-seeking students initially enrolling in a state university are required to demonstrate competency in civic literacy by the time they graduate.
With a minimum score of 50 on the CLEP American Government exam, students would meet the new civics literacy requirement. Additionally, UCF students would also earn 3 college credits in POS 2041.
